Welcome to the RRR June Blog Hop. If you arrived here from Judy's awesome blog, you are on the right track.
If not, why don't you head on over to the RRR Blog and start from the beginning so you don't miss a thing.
I realized when I was taking the photographs that they would look so much better if I had a cute little model like Misty does. Oh well. Some day I hope to have a couple of granddaughters to fill that roll. Until then, I either have to get going earlier than two days before the blog hop and borrow my niece, or get by with photos like the ones below.
For the first headband I used a 1/2" plastic headband and the 3/8" diamond satin ribbons to cover the headband and I made a pretty little flower with the 7/8" red satin horizontal stripe, 5/8" silver edge lt navy satin and the 3/8" white with silver edge satin for the tiny folded ribbon rose in the center.
For the second headband I used a 3/4" plastic headband and the red and lt navy diamond satin and the white with silver edge satin. By using a different placement for the colors, I achieved a totally different look for this one.
I've been asked quite a bit for a video tutorial for the woven ribbon headbands and I will be working on that soon. I lost my video editor when my son got a job in North Carolina and moved 600 miles away. He will be home in early July, so if I can't figure it out by then, I'll have some help. :)
Your next stop is Heidi's wonderful blog. Thanks so much for stopping by today!!
