Hi friends.  Today I have a fun and colorful card to share.  We’ve had some really dreary weather in my area for a few weeks and I needed some color in my life so I went bold today with fun die cuts from Cheery Lynn Designs and gorgeous ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon..

I started out with scraps of red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple card stock about 1-1/2″ x 5″.  I applied Stick It adhesive to the backs of all the pieces and then die cut each with the Border #3 die.  I then adhered all my pieces on to a panel of white card stock and then mounted that on an A2 sized top fold black card base.
Stick It adhesive is a wonderful adhesive for intricate die cuts.  You simply apply it to the back of your cardstock, die cut, peel off the backing and adhere it to your project.  Perfect for effortless, all-over adhesion.  The best part is that it doesn’t ‘grab’ immediately, so there is a little time to make sure your die cut is exactly where you want it.  I use it on all my projects.
For the sentiment, I used the Rectangular Pierce & Cut Tool Lge Silver Pierce die.  If you don’t have the size you need, you can often create one by partially cutting, flipping the die and line up the holes and cut the other half.  This really adds to the value of these sets!
I then added some dimensional butterflies using the Small Exotic Butterlies #1 set.

My finishing touch is my very favorite bi-color double-loop bow.  I created the bow with daffodil and tangerine Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon on my Bow-it-All V2.0.  If you don’t already own this tool, YOU NEED IT!  I use it almost every day.
