Hi friends.  I have a card today combining some of my favorite ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon, beautiful dies from Cheery Lynn Designs and a wonderful sentiment from Quietfire Design.

I’ve always love a red and black color combination.  It’s such a bold ‘look at me’ color combination.  I’m also in love with the Houndstooth Plaid Ribbon that is available in both red and black and that ribbon was perfect for my bow for this project.

Cheery Lynn Designs Dies Used:
I created my beautiful tea roses using a mix of white and red petal layers.  For the white layers, I used an old script background stamp to add a little texture and color.  I shaped the petals and assembled the layers using the fast drying Art Institute Glitter Designer Dries Clear Adhesive, 2-Ounce.  I also like to use the Art Glittering System Ultra Fine Metal Tip for precision application.
This has somewhat become my signature bow.  I use it a lot because it’s my very favorite bow.  The bow was made from red and black 5/8″ Houndstooth Plaid Ribbon using my Bow-it-All Tool.

Don’t forget – there is a fabby NEW Bow-it-All V3.0 available for pre-order now.  If you’ve been holding out, now is the time to purchase this tool.  So many bow making options – I use it all the time.
